Larry L. Plumblee

A native of Greenville, South Carolina, Larry L. Plumblee was brought up in Travelers Rest. An attorney and partner at Eppes & Plumblee, based in Greenville, he has an experience of over 36 years working in the realm of law. Apart from representing his clients before the court, he is also experienced in mediation, arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution methods extending his practice to include matters pertaining to:

• Business and commercial litigation
• Plaintiff’s personal injury
• Medical malpractice
• Construction disputes/mechanic’s liens
• Insurance coverage litigation
• Stockbroker/financial advisor misconduct and malpractice

Earning his first admission in 1987 to the South Carolina Bar, Mr. Plumblee has also gained admissions to the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit. After graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English from Clemson University, he proceeded to obtain a doctorate in jurisprudence from the University of South Carolina John F. Rice School of Law in 1987. 

At law school, Mr. Plumblee actively participated and became the regional champion in the American Bar Association Mock Trial Competition and was awarded the Lewis F. Powell Medallion for excellence in advocacy. Even while pursuing his undergraduate course, he was inducted into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi and included on the dean’s list. 

Mr. Plumblee’s meticulous approach to law and his dedication to understanding the nuances of each case have positioned him as a reliable advocate for businesses, plaintiffs and individuals seeking legal guidance and representation. His efforts have been recognized with memberships in the South Carolina Association for Justice, the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association and the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals.
