Matthew W. Christian

Matt has an active personal injury practice focusing on nursing home litigation and medical negligence. He is a past chair of the South Carolina Bar Practice and Procedure Committee. He is also a former member of the South Carolina Bar House of Delegates. He has multiple published cases and has successfully argued in front of the South Carolina Supreme Court.  Matt was involved with obtaining a successful denial of Petition for Cert to the United States Supreme Court in a nursing home neglect case. Matt also handles general personal injury matters and other complex litigation with a focus on nursing home neglect and abuse litigation. He has tried multiple cases, including medical negligence cases, to verdict.  He graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law with honors and was a member of the Order of the Wig and Robe. Matt is admitted to practice in all South Carolina state courts, the United States District Court of South Carolina, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
