Charles W. Patrick, Jr.

A founding member at Rogers, Patrick, Westbrook & Brickman, LLC, Charles W. Patrick Jr. represents clients in the state of South Carolina in matters of personal injury, class action, mass torts and general litigation. Throughout his career, he has gained experience with cases involving mesothelioma cancer, products and premises liability, asbestos lung cancer, pleural mesothelioma, peritoneal mesothelioma, pericardial mesothelioma, asbestos exposure and talcum powder mesothelioma lawsuits.

Mr. Patrick is a member of the American Association for Justice, the South Carolina Bar, the South Carolina Association for Justice, the American Board of Trial Advocates and the American Bar Association. Named one of The Best Lawyers in America and a four-time Lawyer of the Year, he is recognized for his high ethical standards and successful results. He also holds the AV Preeminent* peer-review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and maintains an “Excellent” rating on Avvo.

In 1976, Mr. Patrick graduated magna cum laude from Furman University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He then pursued his dream of becoming an attorney at the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 1979. Currently, he is admitted to practice in South Carolina and before the United States Court of Appeals for the 4th, 5th, 10th and 11th Circuits and the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina.

Within his community, Mr. Patrick takes the time to give back. Along with his wife, he is actively involved in several charitable organizations, including the Charleston Promise Neighborhood, the Trident United Way, the Southern Environmental Law Center and the Charleston Symphony Orchestra.
