Right away, Mr. Tedder enrolled at the University of South Carolina School of Law to pursue legal studies and received his Juris Doctor in 2015. During his time in law school, he was part of the Student Bar Association and the Black Law Student Association, and served as a law school senator, and was part of the Sidley Prelaw Scholars Program. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina.

With a fervent dedication to public service, Mr. Tedder currently serves in the South Carolina House of Representatives and gained prior exposure as an intern for the late Senator Edward Kennedy, aiding in the Health, Education, Labor and Pension Committee. Furthermore, his compassion shone through when he served as guardian ad litem, appointed by the Richmond County Court, in the Special Advocates Program and while representing indigent clients in the University of South Carolina Criminal Law Practice Clinic.
