Deon T. Tedder

A passionate advocate for victims who have been injured due to no fault of their own, Deon T. Tedder represents clients across South Carolina from the Rogers, Patrick, Westbrook & Brickman, LLC, in personal injury matters involving the following:

Since obtaining his license to practice in South Carolina in 2017, Mr. Tedder has made remarkable strides within his legal community through his tireless advocacy and client-centric approach to resolving legal matters. In tandem with his personal injury practice, he also handles criminal defense matters such as DUI/DWIs and mass torts, as well as civil rights issues such as discrimination and Title IX actions. Graduating magna cum laude in 2012 with his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and government from the South Carolina State University, Mr. Tedder was a presidential scholar, a student representative for the South Carolina Judicial Branch, and part of Phi Alpha Delta, the Golden Key International Honor Society and the Student Government Association.

Right away, Mr. Tedder enrolled at the University of South Carolina School of Law to pursue legal studies and received his Juris Doctor in 2015. During his time in law school, he was part of the Student Bar Association and the Black Law Student Association, and served as a law school senator, and was part of the Sidley Prelaw Scholars Program. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina.

With a fervent dedication to public service, Mr. Tedder currently serves in the South Carolina House of Representatives and gained prior exposure as an intern for the late Senator Edward Kennedy, aiding in the Health, Education, Labor and Pension Committee. Furthermore, his compassion shone through when he served as guardian ad litem, appointed by the Richmond County Court, in the Special Advocates Program and while representing indigent clients in the University of South Carolina Criminal Law Practice Clinic.
