Nina Fields Britt

Licensed to practice in South Carolina since 2000, Nina Fields Britt serves as the managing attorney in the law firm Rogers, Patrick, Westbrook & Brickman, LLC, out of their office in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Adept at handling personal injury, business litigation matters and consumer lawsuits, her practice encompasses areas of defective medical products, mutual fund litigation, pharmaceutical drugs, deceptive credit card practice, antitrust and deceptive trade, tobacco litigation and other class action lawsuits.

Ms. Britt is admitted to appear before the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit. She channels her passion for helping others into her work by representing consumers, insureds and small businesses in complex litigation matters to fight unfair and illegal business practices.

A native of Seneca, South Carolina, Ms. Britt’s work so far has been to counter the unruly actions and negligence of companies and to hold them accountable for their unscrupulous actions. She completed her law degree magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina in 2000. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree (1997) from the College of Charleston. 

Soon after graduation, Ms. Britt joined as a law clerk with the Honorable Judge G. Ross Anderson Jr. at the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, where she served for about a year. She joined the team at Rogers, Patrick, Westbrook & Brickman, LLC, and has been diligently serving her clients from there for more than 22 years. Apart from other practices, she also has invaluable experience calculating a company’s risk, filing cases against insurance companies for failing to provide diminished value coverage and mutual fund advisers for charging excessive fees.
