He holds his license to practice in Louisiana and South Carolina, and he is admitted to practice before the all U.S. District Courts for the Districts of Louisiana and the District of South Carolina as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th and 5th Circuits and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Mr. Bluestein is also a member of the South Carolina Bar and the South Carolina Marine Association. He is also a member of the United States Power Squadrons, and he has served as chairman of the American Association for Justice's Admiralty Law Section as well as on the Practice and Procedure and Cargo Committees of the Maritime Law Association of the United States.
