Mark C. Joye is not only a highly respected personal injury attorney who handles a full spectrum of cases, from brain injuries and defective products to trucking cases and slip and falls, but he is also a strong advocate for positive change in his profession and community. He has served as lead counsel in numerous cases involving victims who suffered catastrophic injuries or wrongful death through car or trucking accidents. His case of Jimenez v. Chrysler remains the largest personal injury jury verdict in the state.
Mr. Joye earned his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law and joined the South Carolina Bar in 1989. He is board-certified as a trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is a past president of the South Carolina Association for Justice and the Charleston chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He currently serves on the Board of Governors of the American Association for Justice.
When not representing clients at the Joye Law Firm in North Charleston, South Carolina, or lecturing to state and national bar associations, he prouldy supports the Boy Scouts and holds the rank of Eagle Scout.
