David R. Williams offers dedicated legal services to the residents of Orangeburg and Columbia, South Carolina, drawing on 15 years of experience in law practice. He is an attorney at Williams & Williams Attorneys at Law and concentrates his practice on civil litigation, including automobile and motorcycle wrecks, tractor-trailer collisions, product liability, child injuries, nursing home abuse and neglect, insurance bad faith, premises liability, construction litigation and wrongful death.

After completing his bachelor’s degree at Wofford College in 2006, Mr. Williams attended the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law and earned his Juris Doctor in 2009. Licensed to practice law in South Carolina the same year he graduated from law school, he was admitted before the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit.

While at law school, Mr. Williams was an associate at the John Belton O’Neall Inn of Court, Student Bar Association, Phi Delta Phi, Palmetto Law Society, Beaux Arts Society and the Law Democrats. Moreover, he worked as a law clerk at two boutique law firms in Columbia, South Carolina. He has obtained more than $53.5 million for his clients in an Employees v. Employer case.

Beyond his legal acumen, Mr. Williams is an active member of the Southern Trial Lawyers Association, the South Carolina Bar, the South Carolina Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice and the American Bar Association. Furthermore, he generously offers free legal aid to U.S. military members in Orangeburg and teaches at programs designed to educate nonlawyers and those interested in trial advocacy.
