Pamela R. Reiter

A leader within her legal community, Pamela R. Reiter utilizes her expansive legal and practical knowledge of over three decades to help her clients overcome their contentious legal challenges with efficiency and care, emphasizing on providing them support during this taxing time. A founding partner at Reiter Law Firm in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, she serves clients throughout the surrounding region and nationwide in cases involving estate planning and administration, beneficiary rights, trust litigation, land disputes, and business litigation.

Ms. Reiter completed her undergraduate studies in 1991, graduating summa cum laude with her bachelor’s degree in accounting and management from Northern State University. She went on to attend the University of South Dakota School of Law and received her Juris Doctor summa cum laude in 1994. The very next year after graduating from law school, she obtained her license to practice law in South Dakota. 

One of Ms. Reiter’s very first roles within the legal field was as a law clerk at the United States District Court for the District of South Dakota, where she served for nearly 15 years and gained invaluable insight into the inner workings of the federal judicial body. She now uses her time there at her clients’ behest, giving them the upper hand in their legal matters.

A consummate professional through and through, Ms. Reiter ensures that all available resources are put to use in pursuit of achieving her clients’ goals, and she leaves no stone unturned in this pursuit. For her many contributions, she has been peer-review rated AV Preeminent* through Martindale-Hubbell, the organization’s highest rating, and was named in the Top 250 Women in Litigation list by Benchmark Litigation. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association and the State Bar of South Dakota.
