Born and raised near St. Louis, Missouri, Mr. Goldstein earned his Juris Doctor degree from Belmont University College of Law in Nashville, Tennessee. He also holds degrees in computer science and political science from Middle Tennessee State University. Mr. Goldstein is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and Kentucky and is admitted to all Tennessee and Kentucky state courts, the immigration courts of the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), the United States District Courts for the Western, Middle, and Eastern Districts of Tennessee, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He is also a Notary Public.

Mr. Goldstein also focuses on interstate custody disputes involving complex jurisdictional issues, and cases involving the wrongful removal or retention of children under The Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction.
