Before entering private practice, Ms. Patton built a strong academic foundation that reflects her commitment to excellence and public service. She earned a bachelor's degree in international relations and Latin American studies, summa cum laude, from Samford University. She then received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Belmont University College of Law. 

During law school, Ms. Patton served as the executive submissions editor for the Belmont Law Review and as the executive director of the Belmont Legal Aid Society, a student organization dedicated to providing pro bono legal services to members of the community. These leadership roles strengthened her legal research, writing and advocacy skills while reinforcing her dedication to serving those in need. Licensed to practice law in Tennessee since 2018, she remains committed to professional development and active involvement within the legal community.
