Daniel Ripper

Daniel Ripper is a partner at Luther-Anderson, PLLP, located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. His practice primarily focuses on complex tort litigation, insurance defense, automobile liability, products liability and medical malpractice defense. Admitted to practice in both Tennessee and Georgia in 1992, he is celebrated for his strong dedication, exceptional work ethic and commitment to maintaining ethical standards in his practice. Originally from Murphy, North Carolina, Mr. Ripper completed his undergraduate studies in English and government at the University of Notre Dame in 1989. He furthered his education at The University of Tennessee College of Law, earning his Juris Doctor in 1992. Subsequently, he began his legal career with the predecessor of Luther-Anderson, PLLP, focusing on civil litigation primarily related to insurance matters.

While Mr. Ripper found his initial legal engagements rewarding, he soon realized his passion extended beyond serving institutional clients to addressing the legal challenges faced by individuals, particularly in criminal defense. This realization came to fruition when he began representing clients in criminal cases, where he found profound fulfillment in securing successful outcomes for those charged with criminal offenses.

Mr. Ripper is a distinguished member of the legal community and actively participates in several professional organizations, including the Eagle International Associates, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Tennessee Bar Association and the Chattanooga Bar Association.
