Danny Ellis

Danny Ellis serves clients across the U.S. from the Seattle Truck Law, PLLC, located in Seattle, Washington, and Chattanooga, Tennessee. Working out of the Chattanooga office, his practice is mainly focused on commercial motor vehicle accidents and related cases such as:

· Trucking accidents

· Passenger bus accidents

· Logging trailer accidents

· Cement mixer accidents

· Dump truck accidents

· School bus accidents

After completing his undergraduate degree at Freed-Hardeman University in 1997, Mr. Ellis studied at the Samford University Cumberland School of Law, where he served as the editor of the university’s law review. Graduating with his law degree in 2000, he was admitted to legal practice in Tennessee the same year. Later, he obtained his licenses to practice in the states of Arkansas, Washington and Georgia.

Mr. Ellis began his legal career in Jackson, Tennessee, and soon became a well-known courtroom advocate who understood his clients’ struggles and worked diligently to get them a favorable resolution. He also got involved in local politics and became the vice mayor after serving on the city council for a while. 

Certified as a truck accident attorney by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, Mr. Ellis also has experience working as a defense attorney for an insurance firm; this helped him gain deeper insight into the inner workings of insurance companies. He now uses this knowledge to help his injured victims get the required health care and compensation they need to move on with their lives. He holds a 10 out of 10 rating on Avvo. 

Active in the legal arena, Mr. Ellis is a member of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys, the American Association for Justice and the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association. IN 2021, Mr. Ellis was named the Tennessee Trial Lawyer of the Year.  Mr. Ellis is the current president of the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association.
