Attorney Profile

The founder of Chattanooga, Tennessee-based Truck Wreck Justice, PLLC, Morgan G. Adams has developed a national reputation as a skilled personal injury and wrongful death litigation attorney. As the name of his firm would suggest, he focuses his practice on truck accidents, providing representation to clients who have been harmed in such collisions caused by the negligence of truck drivers or their employers. In addition to accidents caused by transportation carriers, Mr. Adams has experience in cases involving dump trucks, concrete mixers, school and passenger buses, and logging trucks. While many of the incidents have been the result of a truck driver who was speeding, distracted, drowsy or impaired by drugs or alcohol, others are due to improper truck maintenance, lack of supervision, or poorly secured cargo. He has obtained numerous multimillion-dollar settlements and jury verdicts on behalf of his plaintiff clients.

Majoring in government, Mr. Adams attended Bowdoin College in Maine and received a Bachelor of Arts in 1985. He then pursued his legal education at Georgia State University College of Law and obtained his Juris Doctor in 1989. After serving in various capacities with the U.S. Marine Corps, Mr. Adams entered private practice in 1997. He is admitted to practice in Tennessee, Georgia and Washington.

Mr. Adams has received many honors and accolades throughout his career, including an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell. He has also been named to The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100, and he is certified as a specialist in civil trial law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. A member of the board of regents of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys, Mr. Adams frequently delivers presentations on topics related to his practice area to groups of fellow professionals.

*AV®, AV Preeminent®, Martindale-Hubbell Distinguished and Martindale-Hubbell Notable are certification marks used under license in accordance with the Martindale-Hubbell certification procedures, standards and policies.
