Daniel Loyd Taylor

With 40-plus years of experience in the field of law, Daniel Loyd Taylor provides unique solutions to family law issues primarily in areas of Nashville and Williamson County, and throughout Middle Tennessee. 

Mr. Taylor has the emotional intelligence to gauge the intensity of the crisis faced by individuals, which helps him understand their problems and suggest strategies that favor a positive outcome. Most of this ability stems from his own experiences which have enabled him to be an empathetic attorney who can apprehend the complexity of the situation. He has litigated cases at the trial and appellate level, and before the Tennessee Supreme Court.

A native of Memphis, he has earned respect as a member of the legal community and holds affiliations with several of its associations including the American College of Trial Lawyers, the Memphis Bar Association, the Lawyers Journal Club of Memphis and several other local clubs. 

Mr. Taylor obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree at Rhodes College, from where he graduated in 1976. He received his Juris Doctor in 1980 from the Memphis State University (presently, The University of Memphis), where he served on the editorial board of the law review as well.
