Brian T. Boyd

For nearly 20 years, Brian Boyd has represented clients in matters pertaining to commercial litigation, and business and construction law with a judicious attitude and an adaptable style, always maximizing his representation to leave as much advice and wisdom he can impart in any given situation. A Partner at Thompson Burton, PLLC, Mr. Boyd practices in the areas of Business Law, Real Estate, Construction Law and Tax.  Mr. Boyd is always attentive to his clients’ needs, many of whom have expressed their gratitude through positive testimonials. His clientele includes corporations, midsized and small businesses, as well as individual entrepreneurs. He uses his accumulation of knowledge and practice to advise clients on initiatives that decrease the chance of any arising legal issues, and fiercely advocates for them when a legal issue does rear its head. 

Licensed to practice in Tennessee and Vermont, Mr. Boyd is also admitted to practice before the following courts:

• The United States Court of Appeals for the 5th and 6th Circuits

A 1998 B.A. graduate in English and history from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Mr. Boyd attended the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and received his Juris Doctor in 2004. During his time in law school, he was on the Moot Court Board and was a part of the university’s National Moot Court Team. Furthermore, he completed his Master of Laws degree in taxation from the Georgetown University Law Center in 2005.
