Eric M. Larsen

Attorney Eric M. Larsen is the founder of Larsen Law PLLC, a criminal defense law firm located in Franklin, Tennessee. The son of a Michigan State Police homicide detective and former probation/parole officer, Mr. Larsen is passionate about defending the rights and liberties of those facing criminal charges in order to help ensure they receive fair treatment in the criminal justice system.

A highly rated attorney and recipient of Avvo's Clients' Choice Award in 2013, Mr. Larsen works closely with all he serves, advising them of their options and delivering effective defense strategies aimed at achieving the most favorable outcomes possible considering his clients' situations. In addition to defending his clients against all types of criminal charges and DUI, he also represents families dealing with sensitive and emotional family law matters such as divorce, child custody and support, and other related issues.

Mr. Larsen received his undergraduate degree in criminal justice from Michigan State University in 1997. He then spent 12 years working for the Michigan Department of Corrections before transitioning into law. In 2011, he obtained his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Western Michigan University-Cooley Law School. That same year both the State Bar of Michigan and the Tennessee Bar Association admitted him to practice, and he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.

A consummate professional, Mr. Larsen is active with the State Bar of Michigan and the Tennessee Bar Association as well as the Midland County Bar Association. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Williamson County Bar Association and the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Devoted to giving back to those in need, he offers pro bono representation with Legal Services of Eastern Michigan, and he volunteers his time and services to organizations throughout his community.
