Kristian Rasmussen

Kristian Rasmussen is a senior partner at the law firm Milberg LLP. Mr. Rasmussen has over a decade of legal experience and concentrates his practice on class action and mass tort lawsuits, representing clients throughout the United States. 

Over the course of his career, Mr. Rasmussen has been involved in many major cases. Prior to joining Milberg LLP, he served in the U.S. Navy as a Judge Advocate General officer and practiced at a personal injury law firm. An exceptional litigator, he has substantial courtroom experience and has obtained millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts for clients over the years.

In honor of his accomplishments in the legal profession, the American Association for Justice included Mr. Rasmussen on their “Top 100 Trial Lawyers” list and the New York City Bar Association presented him with a trial advocacy award. He has served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney for the U.S District Court for the Northern District of Florida and a foreign legal consultant for the Law Society of Ontario. 

After completing his undergraduate studies, Mr. Rasmussen graduated from Mississippi College School of Law. He is qualified to practice before all Alabama and Florida state courts, several federal courts and the U.S. Army Court of Criminal Appeals. 

An active contributor to his legal community, Mr. Rasmussen is a member of the Birmingham Bar Association, the Escambia-Santa Rosa Bar Association, the Alabama Association for Justice, the Florida Justice Association and the First Judicial Circuit Trial Lawyers Association. He also belongs to the American Association for Justice Leaders Forum.
