    Pro bono/Community Service:

    • Christmas Party for Kids.  Our Firm hosted their first Christmas Party for Kids in Church Hill, Tennessee! in 2014. Children enjoyed games, face painting, arts and crafts, balloon tying, a catered Christmas dinner, and a surprise visit from Santa. More than 30 children enjoyed receiving gifts from our Firm. Troy Bowlin talked with the families and children about his experiences as a young child growing up in Church Hill. , 2014
    • CLASS Our Firm provides all of the school supplies to particular individuals from my hometown. CLASS stands for Children's Learning and Academic Supplies for Success. Each child is given a brand new backpack containing all of their school supplies. My firm host(s) a picnic event with field games for kids. More than 37 children received all of their school supplies in 2013.
    • Since 2008 my office has been providing pro bono services for individuals who have been charged with a criminal offense who cannot afford legal representation.

    • Responsible for a policy change to a long standing procedure in the General Sessions court which now requires law enforcement to produce oral testimony to a neutral and detached fact finder regarding acts from which probable cause may be determined   
    • Successfully argued upon Motion for a dismissal on charges which were charged an Attempted First Degree Murder., 2013
    • Successfully encouraged a new policy implementation dealing with Restraint Chair usage. , 2016
    • Appealed to the Court of Criminal Appeals the Trial Courts revocation of clients Bond.  The Court of Criminal Appeals overturned Trial Court and ordered the release of my client immediately.  Prior to the Court of Criminal Appeals decision the revocation of bond had been a long standing practice for more than 20 years of the Trial Court.  
    • Received a verdict of Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity for a individual criminally charged with multiple counts of Aggravated Assault and Unlawful Possesson of a Firearm., 2013
    • Motion to Suppress was Granted and case dismissed in a multi-jurisdictional internet sex crimes case. , 2014
    • Successfully argued a Motion to Dismiss for Unconstitutionality of Statute regarding Grandparents Visitation.  Trial Court declared that the Statute violated the Constitution of the United States as well as the Constitution of the State of Tennessee.
    • Multiple Plaintiff Inmate Rape case against a Local Government by its employees settled shortly after a lawsuit was filed for a confidential amount.


    • Our Firm orchestrated, managed, and settled a multi-million dollar healthcare acquisition in East Tennessee. , 2014
