Jack D. Lowery

As a senior partner at Lowery, Lowery & Cherry, PLLC, Jack D. Lowery focuses his practice exclusively on representing clients in criminal defense cases. Serving people throughout Middle Tennessee, including those in Mount Juliet, Lebanon, Cookeville and Gallatin, his caseload includes the following issues: sexual assault, rape, sex crimes and sex offender registry; drug crimes such as possession, interstate matters and distribution; drunk driving and DUI; domestic violence; federal and white collar crimes; and criminal appeals.

Licensed to practice since 1998, Mr. Lowery is adept at complex litigation such as multi-defendant cases and high-profile issues. His successes include a not guilty verdict on behalf of a client charged with his fifth DUI and exonerating people who have been wrongfully convicted. Just as important as these results is the way that Mr. Lowery arrives at them. He is committed to keeping clients informed about their case and is highly responsive to their concerns. People who work with him know they can turn to him for advice and support at any time during the process.

Mr. Lowery is a former prosecutor with significant trial experience. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit, the U.S. District Courts for the Middle, Eastern and Western Districts of Tennessee, and several state courts.

After earning an undergraduate degree from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 1993, Mr. Lowery received a Juris Doctor from the Nashville School of Law in 1998.

Outside his practice, Mr. Lowery is a board member of the Tennessee Road Builders Association and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
