Ms. Davis received a bachelor’s degree in French from the University of Tennessee where she graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She went on to graduate cum laude from the University of Tennessee College of Law and was the law school's Woman Graduate of the Year in 1996

Ms. Davis has been licensed to practice law since 1996 and has more than 21 years of experience. Over the course of her career, she has handled complex matters involving owners' associations, property and title litigation, personal injury, and small business representation. She represents a wide range of local governmental clients, including electric cooperatives, planning commissions and utility districts.  Ms. Davis is the City Attorney for the city of Maryville and the attorney for the Maryville City Schools. She has represented the city of Maryville since 1999. 

She has earned her a AV Preeminent* rating from the peer review organization Martindale-Hubbell.  She is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an organization for attorneys who have obtained judgments or settlements of at least $1,000,000 in a single case.    She has been named one of the “Top 100 Lawyers in Tennessee” by the National Trial Lawyers Association every year since 2013 and was "Top 40 under 40" in her younger days, recognizing the top forty lawyers under the age of forty in the state. 

She currently holds certifications from the National Board of Trial Advocacy in trial advocacy and pre-trial advocacy. 

She has tried 100's of cases and made regular trips to courts of all kinds over the last 21 plus years. She has argued or briefed over 35 cases in the Tennessee Court of Appeals.   

Ms. Davis has given CLE presentations to other lawyers in areas involving owners' associations,  land use law, municipal law and law and technology. 

She served as a hearing officer for the Board of Professional Responsibilty from 2006-1012.

She is an active member of the Blount County Bar Association (2x past president), the Knoxville Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, the Tennessee Municipal Attorneys Association (Executive Committee)  and the Litigation Counsel of America.

She is a long time board member of the Blount County Community Action Agency and was its chair from 2015-17.  She is a Meals On Wheels volunteer and supporter.

She has been married to her husband Chad since 1992. They have three daughters. Away from work, she enjoys reading, family activities, UT sports and travel.
