Alan G. Crone is a dedicated attorney currently working as a partner at Barrett & Farahany in Memphis, Tennessee. Mr. Crone kicked off his career in law with a Juris Doctor from The University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 1990. He gained admission to practice law in Tennessee in the same year and in the following year, he was admitted to the Arkansas Bar Association. He is further admitted to the federal courts and bankruptcy courts in these states. At the beginning of his career, he was appointed as the chief counsel to the Tennessee Department of Employment Security by the then-governor of Tennessee. He also served as an assistant district attorney in Shelby County, providing him with experience in prosecution.

With a compassionate and understanding approach, Mr. Crone ensures that his clients are given the dignity they deserve and strives to fight for his clients’ goals with a well-planned strategic approach. Beyond his practice, he serves as the Co-Chairman of the Employment and Labor Law Subcommittee of the American Bar Association’s Class Actions and Derivative Lawsuits Committee. He is also a member of the Memphis Bar Association, where he previously served on the Board of Directors and as the chairman of the Employment Law Section. He formerly served as head of the Shelby County Republican Party and Special Counsel to the Mayor of Memphis.
