Howard Wagerman

An honorable attorney holding an AV Preeminent* rating through Martindale-Hubbell, Howard Wagerman is a partner at the Memphis, Tennessee-based legal firm, Wagerman Katzman. Practicing law in the state for close to four decades and a half, he has focused his practice primarily on providing criminal defense services to individuals who have been allegedly accused of various crimes.

A proud native of Tennessee, Mr. Wagerman was born and raised in Memphis. He pursued his undergraduate studies at the renowned The University of Memphis, earning his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1976. He attended The University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law and obtained his Juris Doctor in 1979. Wanting to serve his local community, he decided to secure his bar license to start practicing law in his home state, and he was licensed to practice law in the state the very same year he graduated from law school.

Since then, Mr. Wagerman has vigorously defended his clients and protected their rights in courts across Tennessee, both federal and state. With diligence, he approaches every single client to understand the challenges they are facing. He firmly believes that every citizen should receive a fair chance to explain their unique circumstances to the court and jurors. Over the years, he has helped hundreds of clients and earned their trust and gratitude.
