Richard D. Bennett

A highly regarded civil trial lawyer, Richard D. Bennett is an attorney at Farris Bobango PLC. Located in the firm's office in Memphis, Tennessee, he represents clients throughout the state. Admitted to practice in Tennessee since 1988, Mr. Bennett is also admitted to practice before several federal trial and appellate courts, including the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 6th and 8th circuits, and the Supreme Court of the United States. He has also appeared pro hac vice before several other courts.

The types of cases that Mr. Bennett has worked on during his distinguished career have included contract breaches and other business disputes, labor and employment law, in which he represents employers, construction contract and lien issues, and fraud. He has also provided advice and counsel to entrepreneurs who are considering launching a new venture, and his work in this regard has included determining the most appropriate form of legal entity, regulatory compliance and counseling. Mr. Bennett's experience has additionally encompassed government relations and administrative law. His clients come from a wide variety of sectors, including banking, health care, construction, manufacturing, retail and transportation.

Mr. Bennett's successful track record has led to a great deal of recognition from his fellow attorneys.
