Mrs. Williamson earned her bachelor’s degree in communication and public relations from The University of Alabama in 2014. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Belmont University College of Law in 2017. After law school, she began her legal career as a criminal prosecutor in Brevard County, Florida, serving in the 18th Judicial Circuit. She is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and Florida, and is also admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Tennessee.
Following her time as a prosecutor, Mrs. Williamson returned to Nashville and transitioned into plaintiff’s personal injury law. In September 2022, she founded DevonLaw, PLLC, inspired by a desire to provide more client-focused representation. She observed that many injury law firms prioritize quick settlements, often at the expense of their clients’ best interests. At DevonLaw, her mission is to prioritize each client’s well-being, aiming for efficient resolutions while remaining fully prepared to take cases to trial when necessary.
With extensive courtroom and jury trial experience, Mrs. Williamson brings a strong litigation background to every case. She takes the time to understand each client’s individual situation, ensuring that the compensation they receive truly supports their recovery and long-term needs.
She is an active member of the Nashville Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division and has been recognized for her professional accomplishments. In 2024, she was named to the Nashville Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list. She has also received the Attorney for Justice Award from the Tennessee Supreme Court and was honored as a “Top 40 Under 40” personal injury attorney in Tennessee by The National Trial Lawyers.

- $300,000 Dog Bite Settlement. Davidson County, TN. Despite no prior warning of the dog's aggression, our client was attacked by a 200-pound dog at an acquaintance's home. The attack caused severe injuries, including multiple facial surgeries and puncture wounds throughout her body. Devon took the case in late December of 2023 and very swiftly negotiated a policy-limits settlement of $300,000 with the dog owner's homeowner's insurance carrier on February 1, 2024. Our client expressed deep gratitude and relief for being financially supported for her future needs., 2024
- $111,000 Car Accident Settlement. Davidson County, TN. Our client was injured in a hit-and-run accident in Nashville. DevonLaw was able to negotiate a settlement meeting policy limits from the person at fault and received an additional settlement from the client’s own underinsured auto insurance policy., 2022
- $125,000 Car Accident Settlement. Brevard County, FL. In this car accident case, our client, a backseat passenger, suffered significant and permanent injuries due to a crash caused by an alcohol-impaired driver. Her right foot was broken, leading to surgery and ongoing medical treatment. Devon skillfully negotiated with the at-fault driver's automobile insurance carrier, securing the maximum policy limits of $100,000. Additionally, Devon secured an extra $25,000 settlement from our client's own automobile insurance company, ensuring that our client received the compensation she was rightfully entitled to., 2024

- Nashville Bar Association - Young Lawyers Division's 2023 Davidson County High School Mock Trial Competition The Davidson County High School Mock Trial Competition is held every year at the Historic Metro Courthouse, where local high school mock trial teams compete by litigating both sides of a theoretical lawsuit. Teams are scored based on their ability, knowledge of law, demeanor, preparedness, and professionalism.This event takes place over five rounds spanning two days. Dozens of YLD members and local attorneys come together to present, judge, and score the mock trial competition. The top two placing teams continue on to the Tennessee State competition for a chance at competing in the National Competition. This year, 20 high school teams participated! I was responsible for organizing and planning the entire competition, along with my team from the Young Lawyers Division. Since the Competition concluded on February 25th, I have heard nothing but positive remarks about how smoothly the event ran., 2023
- Nashville Bar Association - Young Lawyers Division's 2025 Carbolic Smoke Ball Committee. The Carbolic Smoke Ball is the YLD’s annual cocktail and dance party. Named after the infamous Carlill v. Carbolic Smoke Ball Co. case, this event has been 20 years running and hosted at various venues around Nashville. Features include a live band, heavy hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, and a festive atmosphere. Lawyers and friends come out each year to have an awesome time while supporting the YLD, the Nashville Bar Association, and CASA Nashville and Nashville Children's Alliance (the charity beneficiaries)., 2025
