Jimmy B. Meeks Jr. is an attorney with Pepper Meeks & Whitaker in Nashville, Tennessee, where his practice is focused on representing businesses and individuals in complex commercial, business and construction disputes. Mr. Meeks began his legal career in Seattle, where he advised and defended construction companies in a variety of claims arising in the region’s demanding and fast-paced construction market. He subsequently practiced with a premier law firm in Washington’s agricultural basin, where he represented some of the nation’s largest farming operations in a broad range of commercial disputes. Upon returning to Nashville, he has continued to build on this foundation, utilizing his national experience to serve the legal needs of clients across Middle Tennessee.

Throughout his career, Mr. Meeks has handled matters involving industries such as construction, telecommunications, energy, medical devices and entertainment. His representative work includes defending one of the country’s largest cable companies in litigation arising from damage to a jet fuel pipeline, representing a construction company in claims related to oil rig operations in Alaska, defending a medical device manufacturer in personal injury litigation and protecting a concert venue in lawsuits stemming from the malfunction of a confetti cannon.
