The managing partner and owner of The Williams Firm in Nashville, Tennessee, Jonathan Williams focuses primarily on personal injury matters, including car accidents, motorcycle accidents, truck accident and other types of injury claims. He has successfully represented plaintiffs in Nashville and the surrounding areas in numerous cases involving motorcycle accidents, brain injuries, wrongful death and defective products and has recovered millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements.
A Nashville native, Mr. Williams obtained his bachelor's degree in political science with an emphasis on law and justice from North Carolina State University, where he was able to attain cum laude honors while serving as a member of two ACC Champion wrestling teams. He received scholar-athlete awards during all four years and was an ACC All Conference Academic Team member on three separate occasions. In 2007, he received his law degree from the Nashville School of Law. Mr. Williams joined The Law Office of Larry R. Williams, PLLC, during law school as a clerk and has since dedicated his entire career to providing thorough and thoughtful representation to his clients. He is licensed to practice before all Tennessee state courts.
In addition to his career, Mr. Williams serves his community by formerly serving as president of the Middle Tennessee Wrestling Officials Association, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting amateur wrestling. In addition, he has worked as a referee for college, high school and middle school wrestling. Mr. Williams is a member of the Nashville Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, the American Association for Justice and serves on the board of directors of the Tennessee Association for Justice. In 2012, after securing a "Superb" rating from Avvo, he received the distinguished Avvo Clients' Choice Award. His current Avvo rating is 10.0.
