Mary E. Morris

At Kinnard Law in Nashville, Tennessee, Mary E. Ms. Morris' academic journey began with a double major in history and broadcasting at Western Kentucky University, where she graduated summa cum laude in 1982. Her exceptional scholastic achievements earned her the Award of Excellence Scholarship, the A.M. Stickles History Award Scholarship and a host of other accolades. She then pursued her legal education at Vanderbilt University Law School, receiving her J.D. in 1988. During her time there, she was an active member of the Moot Court Team, contributed to the Vanderbilt Law Review and was inducted into the prestigious Order of the Coif. Her outstanding performance also gained her the Law Review Associate Editor’s Award and the American Jurisprudence Awards in various subjects.

Since obtaining her license in Tennessee in 1988, Ms. Morris has been admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Middle, Eastern and Western Districts of Tennessee, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the U.S. Court of Appeals for 6th Circuit. She actively participates in a wide array of associations such as the Nashville Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Tennessee Lawyers Association for Women, the Tennessee Bar Association and the Mario Griffin Chapter of the Lawyers Association for Women.
