Founder of Boon Legal LLC, attorney Michael Woolf represents clients in Middle Tennessee in matters of business law. In his legal practice, he works with the following industries: video games, tech startups, small businesses, general corporations, entrepreneurs, entertainment and emerging companies.

Mr. Woolf graduated with his Juris Doctor from Belmont University College of Law in 2016 and is admitted to practice in the state of Tennessee. Before becoming an attorney, he was an entrepreneur who contributed, directed and designed over 50 interactive software titles. These included innovative enterprise and business applications, state-scaled education platforms, large scale motion control simulators/rides and military training simulators.

Since becoming an attorney, Mr. Boone has earned the Tennessee Supreme Court Attorneys for Justice award and has received the Pro Bono Service Award for five consecutive years starting in 2016. He is actively engaged in his community and is the chair of Video Gaming for Film-Com, an advisor and speaker at The Wond’ry at Vanderbilt University, an advisor for the Nashville Entrepreneur Center and a board member of the Nashville Shakespeare Festival.

Before opening his own firm, Mr. Woolf served on the corporate finance and securities group within the emerging companies team for a national firm headquartered in Memphis, giving him extensive insight into what businesses need to thrive. Prepared to ask the tough questions and provide answers to complex situations, he has the unique ability to see problems from several different perspectives to find the best possible solution.
