He is admitted to practice before all U.S. district courts in Tennessee,  the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Northern Districts of Texas. He also holds his admission to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th, 10th and Federal Circuits.

Mr. Miller has served on the governing board of the Tennessee Bar Association's Intellectual Property Section and on the governing board of the Tennessee Intellectual Property Law Association. He has also taught intellectual property law at the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis.
