Details

As the founder of AndersonClements, PLLC, Mr. Cory Clements devotes himself to assisting individuals and families in the Abilene, Texas, area with a wide range of legal issues including criminal defense and personal injury. Mr. Clements advocates fiercely on behalf of Jones and Taylor county residents who have suffered injuries in accidents caused by the negligence of others or been accused of committing crimes ranging from drunk driving infractions to serious felonies, and he has also helped entrepreneurs in the area to form businesses and take care of the legal issues involved in launching a new commercial venture.

After earning his Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2014, Mr. Clements was admitted to practice law before the state courts of Texas. He is a former member of the Texas Tech University School of Law Board of Barristers and served as the board’s director of special events, and the State Bar of Texas Law Student Division appointed him chairman of the board during his third year of law school. Mr. Clements has also worked in the nation’s capital with the Washington Legal Foundation, which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to defending and promoting the principles of freedom and justice.

Mr. Clements is deeply committed to both the law and the people of Texas. Soon after he began attending law school, the student organization working with the Innocence Project of Texas chose him to be their vice president. He also helped to organize the law magnet program activities at Estacado High School during his two terms as a teaching fellow with the deans in the community outreach program. His philanthropic activities include supporting children’s health and well-being projects in Texas sponsored by Ronald McDonald House Charities as a member of the Rawls Graduate Association.
