Dusty J. Stockard

Dusty J. Stockard co-founded Stockard, Johnston, Brown, Netardus & Doyle, P.C., in Amarillo, Texas. He focuses on civil law, particularly in eminent domain, oil and gas, and commercial disputes. He provides legal assistance to a broad clientele within the region.

Additionally, Mr. Stockard has extensive experience defending insurance cases, resolving business conflicts and managing contract disputes. His professional skills include conducting jury trials, managing appeal processes and representing cases before special commissioners.

Born and raised in Amarillo, Mr. Stockard earned his Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2000. Prior to this, he received his bachelor’s degree in political science and government from West Texas A&M University in 1996. While at law school, he was an active participant and held membership in prestigious organizations, such as the Order of Barristers, the Board of Barristers, Delta Theta Phi, the National Mock Trial Team, the National Moot Court Team and the National Negotiation Team.

Mr. Stockard was duly licensed to practice law in Texas in 2000 and New Mexico in 2001. He has also been admitted before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, the United States Tax Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit.

Beyond his legal acumen, Mr. Stockard is an engaged associate of the legal community. He contributes to the Amarillo Area Bar Association, the Texas Young Lawyers Association, the Amarillo Area Young Lawyers Association and The Texas Association of Defense Counsel, demonstrating his commitment to his legal career and dedication to maintaining a high standard of legal excellence.
