Alicia Lackey

For more than 16 years, Alicia Lackey has served her clients with enthusiastic zeal in seeing them firmly leave their legal woes behind and maintains her judicious advocacy consistently in all the cases she handles, with matters mainly pertaining to family law and criminal defense. Throughout her illustrious career, Ms. Lackey is no stranger to handling pressure situations with grace and poise. Ms. Lackey completed her undergraduate studies in 2003, graduating with her Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology, archaeology and classical civilizations from The University of Texas at Austin and, in addition, was included on the National Dean’s List. She then went on to attend the St. Mary’s University School of Law, where she was on the Moot Court Team and part of the External Advocacy Program and Phi Delta Phi.

To further broaden her horizons, Ms. Lackey interned at the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit and the Texas House of Representatives. A student with fervent academic prowess, she was included in the dean’s list and was awarded the Dean’s Scholarship prior to receiving her Juris Doctor in 2007. The same year she graduated from law school, she obtained her license to practice across all Texas state courts.

Within her legal community, Ms. Lackey holds close affiliations with many prominent legal organizations, including the Austin Bar Association, the Texas Independent Bar Association, the Austin Young Lawyers Association, the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the Hill County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. For her native Spanish-speaking clients, she is fluent in Spanish to ensure clear lines of communication throughout the life cycle of their cases.
