After graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Barnard College, Ms. Barron went on to attend The University of Texas School of Law. From there, she received a Juris Doctor. Ms. Barron also earned a Master of Business Administration in finance and industrial organization from Columbia University.

For more than 40 years, Ms. Barron has aided a range of clients in complex bankruptcy proceedings. Having served as a Chapter 11 trustee and a state court receiver, Ms. Barron draws on this prior experience to help her provide customized guidance that addresses her clients' individual needs. An aggressive advocate on behalf of her clients and their rights, Ms. Barron explains the applicable laws, listens to ascertain her clients' goals and strives to achieve favorable resolutions to their legal issues.

Staying active in the legal community, Ms. Barron has served in varying capacities for a number of associations and organizations. She is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, The American Society of Tax Problem Solvers, the Austin Bar Association, the Commercial Law League of America, The District of Columbia Bar and the State Bar of Texas. Ms. Barron currently serves on the Attorney Admissions Committee of the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas and as chair of the Education Committee of the Commercial Law League of America's Bankruptcy Section.
