Carly Gallagher Murray

Board-certified family law attorney Carly Gallagher Murray is the founder and owner of the Law Office of Carly Gallagher Murray, PLLC located in Austin, Texas. Serving clients throughout Austin and the central Texas area, Ms. Gallagher Murray devotes her practice to delivering the highest possible level of knowledgeable advocacy and support to families who are going through divorce or who have some other serious family law matter that needs to be addressed.

A 2002 graduate of Millsaps College with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy, Ms. Gallagher Murray received a full scholarship to attend the University of Memphis in Tennessee, earning her Master of Arts in Philosophy in 2004. She then returned to the school and enrolled at the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, obtaining her Juris Doctor in 2007.

Highly active with the school's moot court and mock trial programs, she earned recognition as Overall Best Oral Advocate. She also received awards for her excellent academic achievements in mediation as well as the school's Dean's Distinguished Service Award in 2007.

Upon receiving her license to practice from the State Bar of Texas in 2008, she then established her own private practice in Austin in 2010 in order to better serve the legal needs of families throughout her community. Since that time, she has earned a reputation for delivering the compassionate counsel her clients deserve while guiding them through very difficult and emotionally challenging times in their lives.

Trained in alternative dispute resolution, Ms. Gallagher Murray strives to help her clients resolve their conflicts and reach agreements without the need for expensive and protracted courtroom battles; however, as a staunch advocate for those she serves, she will not hesitate to advocate on behalf of her clients' rights and best interests in court when necessary.
