Founder of Mondrik & Associates, Christina A. Mondrik represents the people of Texas in both federal and state tax controversies and litigation. Board-certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in tax law, she represents clients before Texas state courts and the Comptroller’s office in state tax proceedings and handles federal tax matters in the the U.S. Tax Court and U.S. District Court.
With a Bachelor of Business Administration earned from The University of Texas at Austin in 1993, Ms. Mondrik went on to graduate with honors from The University of Texas at Austin School of Law in 2001 with a Juris Doctor. Since 2001, she has been admitted to practice in the state of Texas, is a past chair of the TXCPA Federal Tax Policy and State Taxation Committees and was the 2019-2020 chair of the Texas State Bar Tax Section.
Her pro bono work has included time as a volunteer with Mobile Loaves and Fishes, Habitat for Humanity, and the Forum of Tax Lawyers and Students for the UT Law School Outreach. Ms. Mondrik also regularly participates on panel presentations for future CPAs and law students.
Actively involved with other professionals and organizations, she is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the American Bar Association, the Travis County Women Lawyers Association, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, the UT State Tax Conference CLE Committee, the State Bar of Texas Tax Section and the Austin Bar Association Business, Corporate and Tax Section. Ms. Mondrik has held many leadership positions with these various organizations, including former president of the TSCPA Austin Chapter, former TXCPA Executive Board member, former AICPA Council Member and former chair of the State Bar of Texas Tax Section.
