Christopher Lavorato is a partner at Howry, Breen & Herman LLP, in Austin, Texas. Mr. Lavorato serves clients throughout Texas and California with civil litigation matters such as business and commercial litigation, and personal injury matters such as product liability, construction defects, catastrophic injury, wrongful death and aviation accidents. Mr. Lavorato has a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from the University of San Francisco. He was a commissioned officer in the United States Army after graduating as a Distinguished Military Graduate from ROTC, and he also served as a certified pilot and UH-60 Blackhawk pilot. After which, Mr. Lavorato earned his Juris Doctor from the Santa Clara University School of Law. He was a recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Evidence and won an award for outstanding oral argument in his law school’s Legal Analysis, Research, and Writing (LARAW) program.

For his exceptional work in the legal field, Mr. Lavorato has received many endorsements from peers and testimonials from clients. Active in the legal community, Mr. Lavorato was a board member and secretary of San Mateo County Trial Lawyers Association, board member of the Monterey County Bar Association, among the board of governors of Consumer Attorneys of California, a member of the Italian American Bar Association and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. He also serves as an adjunct professor at the Austin Community College, and has spoken on numerous legal topics for CLE nationwide. 

With a genuine concern to provide legal help to those who cannot afford it, Mr. Lavorato was a volunteer with the Austin Bar Association’s Veterans Legal Clinic. He co-founded the Veteran Lawyers of San Mateo County and was actively involved with Texas Search and Rescue, one of the biggest nonpaid search and rescue organizations in Texas. He was also a part of the Law Library program in the San Mateo County Bar Association.
