Christopher M. Gunter

The president of the Texas-based firm Gunter, Bennett & Anthes, PC, in Austin, Christopher M. Gunter is a criminal defense attorney. He is admitted to practice law in the state of Texas since 1980. He is board-certified in criminal law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and offers his service to the residents of Central Texas who need assistance in matters related to drug offenses, family violence, DWI and parole representation statewide.

A proud graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Mr. Gunter graduated cum laude and earned his undergraduate degree in the year 1977. He received his doctorate in jurisprudence from The University of Texas at Austin School of Law in 1980. He was inducted into the Delta Theta Phi, a legal fraternity.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Gunter gained extensive knowledge by prosecuting cases at the Travis County District Attorney’s Office. He offers very honest and upfront legal counsel to his clients and makes sure to explain all the intricacies of their cases. With his decades of legal experience and fine-tuned skills, he takes on even the most complex of cases and strives to devise effective and innovative solutions to their legal issues.
