Licensed to practice law in Texas and the District of Columbia, Mr. Walsh strives to protect the best interests of clients before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas; the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit and the Federal Circuit; all Texas state courts; administrative actions; and other internal grievance hearings for over a decade. He has also written several persuasive appellate briefs for intermediate courts of appeal, petitions for review and briefs on the merits for the Texas Supreme Court.

Mr. Walsh received his B.A. in theater from The University of Texas at Austin and his Juris Doctor with honors from The University of Texas at Austin School of Law. While in law school, he obtained Endowed Presidential Scholarship in Law, Tom Hathaway Memorial Scholarship for Trial Advocacy for three years and the Dean’s Achievement Award for the highest grade in his Federal Courts class. Meanwhile, he interned at the Dallas County Public Defender’s Office and Houston’s 14th Court of Appeals. In addition to completing international and comparative law at University College London, he was part of the National Security Clinic and one of the finalists in the ABA Law Student Division Arbitration Competition in fall of 2009.

Mr. Walsh is affiliated with the following organizations: the Texas Employment Lawyers Association, the National Employment Lawyers Association, the Austin Bar Association, the Austin Bar Foundation, the Austin Young Lawyers Association, the Texas Young Lawyers Association and the Texas Exes. He is board-certified in labor and employment law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He mentored The University of Texas at Austin School of Law’s interscholastic mock trial team, empowering it to compete in a unique competition involving negotiation, mediation and arbitration at St. John’s University in New York City.
