    David Chamberlain was recently named the Outstanding Defense Bar Leader in the nation by DRI, the largest international association of defense trial lawyers in North America and Europe.  He currently serves as President of the Austin Bar Association, an organization comprised of over 4,000 Central Texas lawyers.  He also currently serves as an officer of both the Texas Chapters and the Austin Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, an exclusive, invitation-only association of the top trial attorneys in Texas. He also serves as co-chair of TexAbota's Legislative Committee where he led the organization's lobbying efforts on HB 274. He currently serves as a National Director on the Board of Directors of DRI. He recently served as President of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel and currently serves on the Board of the Austin Bar Foundation.
