He is board certified in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and accepts clients in Austin, Amarillo, Bastrop, Brownsville, Dallas, Ft Worth, Galveston, Houston, Pflugerville, Round Rock, Waco and throughout the state of Texas.
Mr. Reed began his career as a patrol officer in Houston, where he quickly rose among the ranks to become a decorated sergeant and detective. During this time, Mr. Reed began to have an interest in representing the rights of seriously wronged individuals, and considered a career in the legal field. After completing his undergraduate work at the University of Houston-Downtown, Mr. Reed earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law. While in law school, he helped his team win the National Moot Court Competition and was named best speaker. Today, he is admitted to practice law in Texas and before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Western and Southern Districts of Texas and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit.
In addition to receiving the highest rating of AV Preeminent from Martindale-Hubbell, Mr. Reed is a member of the prestigious Order of Barristers. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and the Texas Bar Foundation. He formerly served as chairperson and director for the Lawyer Referral Service of Central Texas, and as director for the Austin Young Lawyers Association.
