Hillery R. Kaplan

Since 2002, Hillery R. Kaplan has focused her practice on family law. As a partner and attorney at Noelke Maples St. Leger Bryant, LLP, Ms. Kaplan proudly serves clients in Austin, Texas, and throughout the surrounding area. She generally handles cases involving divorce, property issues, custody, enforcement actions and modifications suits, and is board-certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

In 1998, Ms. Kaplan earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Austin. She continued on to graduate from the Emory University School of Law in 2002, receiving a Juris Doctor.

Being the child of divorced parents, Ms. Kaplan has seen the turmoil that family law cases can bring to people’s lives. Working to preserve what is left of such damaged relationships, she aids her clients in achieving amicable resolutions to their legal issues whenever possible but is always prepared to take their cases to court if necessary. Taking the time to get to know her clients and to understand their unique needs, Ms. Kaplan tailors her strategy to help accomplish their legal objectives. In addition to handling family law-related cases, she also assists people with matters involving general civil litigation, employment discrimination litigation, and registering and protecting trademarks.

Actively involved in the legal community, Ms. Kaplan is a member of the State Bar of Texas Family Law Section, the Family Section of the Austin Bar Association and Austin Young Lawyers Association. She is a member of the Congregation Agudas Achim and also volunteers her time serving on the parent committee for the Jewish Community Center Early Childhood Program.
