Holt Lackey

A forthright and accomplished professional, Holt Lackey is the managing partner at Holt Major Lackey, PLLC, in Austin, Texas. A vital part of Mr. Lackey’s practice is ensuring Americans the promise of equal justice under law regardless of their race, creed or financial situation. A third-generation lawyer, he is aware that "Equal Justice Under Law" is one of the extensively violated legal principles and strives to hold influential employers accountable if they break the laws.

A native of Austin, Texas, Mr. Lackey received a doctorate in law with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 2005 after completing his bachelor’s degree at Northwestern University in 2001. While at law school, he was a member of the Texas Law Review. He was licensed to practice law in Texas in 2005. 

When not serving his clients in court, Mr. Lackey focuses his efforts on serving the legal circle and his local community. He is a member of the Economic Prosperity Commission and the Joint Cultural Committee of Texas. He also sits on the board of the Anti-Defamation League of Austin and is the secretary of the board of Equality Texas.
