Mr. Crews earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Oklahoma State University in 1973 before attending the University of Texas School of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 1976. That same year, he was admitted to practice law in Texas. Over the course of his career, he also gained admission to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th and 11th Circuits, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas.
Mr. Crews has handled matters involving significant personal injury claims, employment disputes and constitutional issues, applying a client-focused approach to every stage of litigation. In recognition of his many contributions to the legal profession, he has received an AV Preeminent* peer-review rating through Martindale-Hubbell, the organization’s highest distinction.
Active within the legal community, Mr. Crews maintains membership in several professional organizations, including the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the American Constitution Society, The American Law Institute, the National Association of Consumer Advocates and the Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association. In 2008, he was named a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Association.
