Justin G. Roberts

Justin G. Roberts is an attorney at Austin, Texas-based Anderson Roberts, PLLC. Providing representation to individual and business clients throughout the state, his varied practice is divided among business formation and counseling, income tax planning, estate planning and administration, mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions, corporate finance, securities law, and technology matters. Mr. Roberts is admitted to practice before all Texas state courts.

Mr. Roberts places a heavy emphasis on federal income tax issues in many of the matters that he handles. These include assisting entrepreneurs in selecting the most appropriate form of legal entity for their new ventures, and his tax experience also affects many of the asset and stock transactions that his clients engage in. In that regard, Mr. Roberts regularly prepares and reviews purchase and sale agreements, and he assists companies that are seeking equity and debt financing by negotiating and structuring the terms of those deals. Other matters that he handles include the negotiation of commercial lease agreements, and he represents real estate developers in locating properties and financing their acquisition. Mr. Roberts also has experience in the preparation of wills, trusts and other estate planning documents, and he guides clients through the probate process.

As an undergraduate, Mr. Roberts attended The University of Texas at Austin, and in 2004, he received both a Bachelor of Science in corporate communications and a Bachelor of Business Administration in international business. Remaining on campus, he pursued his legal studies at The University of Texas at Austin School of Law, and he served on the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law before being awarded his Juris Doctor in 2007. A member of several legal organizations, Mr. Roberts joined his current firm in 2015.
