Kody C. Silva

Kody C. Silva, the founding partner of Deyerle Silva Smith, PLLC, is a seasoned family law practitioner with over a decade of experience in the field. Mr. Silva's dedication to delivering comprehensive and personalized legal solutions is evident in his handling of complex family law matters, including divorce, custody and LGBTQ+ family law issues, among others. Mr. Silva’s career began at the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia, progressing to an Associate Attorney at a private firm. In 2015, he returned to Texas, joining an Austin-based family law firm where he ascended to Partner by 2019. 

In 2023, Mr. Silva, alongside partners, established Deyerle Silva Smith, PLLC. This new venture aims to provide top-tier family law representation in Austin and the broader Central Texas area, driven by a collective vision of excellence and integrity. Admitted to practice in both Texas and the District of Columbia, he maintains active involvement in the legal community. He is a member of the Austin and Williamson County Bar Associations and has served on the board of directors for Out Youth, a local nonprofit organization, completing a six-year term. 

Mr. Silva's academic credentials include a J.D. from Baylor University School of Law and a B.A. with Honors in psychology and sociology from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. His professional affiliations extend to the Austin Young Lawyers Association, the Austin Bar Association’s LGBTQ Law Section and several collaborative divorce associations, reflecting his broad commitment to the legal profession.
