Kristina Baehr is a national trial lawyer and founder of Just Well Law, PLLC, a law firm based in Austin, Texas, focused on helping families affected by toxic exposure and environmental harm. Her practice centers on cases involving toxic mold, contaminated water, military fuel exposure and other circumstances in which corporations or government entities may have contributed to serious harm. She brings a trial-focused approach to complex cases involving families whose homes, schools or communities have been affected.
Ms. Baehr’s legal foundation combines an education in public policy with rigorous trial training. She earned her degree from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School before attending Yale Law School. She also completed the Master Graduate program at the Keenan Trial Institute. This background has supported her work navigating complicated factual, legal and scientific issues while advocating for clients in high-stakes litigation.
Over the course of her career, Ms. Baehr has been admitted to practice in Texas, New York, Massachusetts and Connecticut. Her federal admissions include the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Texas, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the 5th Circuit. These admissions reflect the breadth of her practice and her ability to represent clients in matters that cross state and federal jurisdictions.
Ms. Baehr’s professional record has earned recognition from the legal community. Earlier in her career, she became a partner at a national trial firm where she helped clients recover more than $1 billion in cases involving major pharmaceutical and technology companies.
What distinguishes Ms. Baehr’s work is the personal perspective she brings to environmental litigation. After her own family experienced harm from toxic exposure, she founded Just Well Law, PLLC, to help other families pursue accountability and recovery. Before that, she served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney representing the Army, Air Force and Department of Veterans Affairs.
