Margo Pillischer

Margo Ross Pillischer is a Partner at the Austin, Texas, law firm Ross • Scalise Employment Lawyers, and she concentrates her practice exclusively on employment and labor law. She distinguishes herself through her diligent effort, perfect planning and enthusiasm for promoting the law strictly in favor of employees. Starting her legal vocation in New York, Ms. Pillischer stood for the privileges of impecunious litigants as a public defender. Later, she exercised civil law at a plaintiff’s personal injury law firm in New York City, where she assisted clients who were hurt by others' thoughtlessness. It was here where she sharpened her skills in the court, appearing in court at trials, hearings, examinations and case discussions daily in New York City and its adjourning neighborhoods. 

Ms. Pillischer graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Arts in political science and Spanish from Tulane University in New Orleans in 2009. Four years later, she received a doctorate in law from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she served as a board member of the Criminal Law Society and as a student advocate at the Unemployment Action Center. Moreover, she was selected to participate in Cardozo’s prestigious Intensive Trial Advocacy Program (ITAP).

First admitted in New Jersey in 2014, Ms. Pillischer was later licensed to practice in New York, Texas, and the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Texas. She holds active memberships in the Austin Bar Association, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the Austin Young Lawyers Association and the Brooklyn Women’s Bar Association. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
