Details

Shannon H. Hutcheson is a founding member of Hutcheson | Bowers LLLP. She has spent almost two decades serving companies in a wide range of business law cases in Austin, Texas, and across the rest of America. She primarily handles cases related to banking and employment law. Most of these cases involve consumer disputes and contract disputes. She does not, however, represent businesses in cases related to discrimination employment.

Ms. Hutcheson started her college education at Austin College, where she graduated top of her class. She then completed her law degree at The University of Texas at Austin School of Law. In 1996, she graduated with honors. This resulted in her election into the Order of the Coif. That same year, she became admitted to the State Bar of Texas. Ms. Hutcheson is licensed to practice in the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western federal districts. She also became board-certified with the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Labor and Employment Law.

Prior to starting her law firm, Ms. Hutcheson spent 12 years working in business law and employment law at a boutique firm. Her experience involves investigating workplace complaints related to misconduct and even fraud. While most of the companies she works with are right here in Texas, her clients have also been as far-flung as Denver, New York and London.

Over the years, Ms. Hutcheson has also dedicated her time to serving her community through several organizations. These include the Center for Reproductive Rights, Austin Children’s Shelter and Austin Women Invest to Elect.
