A native of Austin, Mr. Barron attended Trinity University after high school, earning an undergraduate degree in English and finance. Furthering his academic journey, he earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law, solidifying a foundation for his legal career. During this time, he served as a staff editor and articles editor for the Texas Review of Law & Politics, also contributing as a professor's research assistant.
While in law school, Mr. Barron served as a judicial intern at the First Court of Appeals, sharpening his skills and prowess in legal research. Later, he secured a clerkship at the Office of Attorney General of Texas – Solicitor General Division, broadening his legal exposure. Here, he worked under several esteemed attorneys, and under their guidance and mentorship, he flourished and amassed invaluable experience and knowledge before graduating from law school in 2018.
Since receiving his bar license and starting his practice in Texas in 2018, Mr. Barron has successfully litigated numerous cases, representing his clients in federal and appellate courts across the state. One of his notable achievements includes adeptly defending the Texas City Police Department against a wrongful arrest lawsuit.
Mr. Barron is highly active in the state’s legal community and holds memberships in The Texas Association of Defense Counsel and the Austin Young Lawyers Association.

- Obtained 12(b)(6) dismissal on behalf of Brazos County in the Federal Civil Rights case 4:25-cv-03596-DH-CAB. Plaintiff claimed his stay at the County jail was unlawfully extended while he awaited extradition to Kansas., 2025
- Obtained 12(b)(6) dismissal in the case of Ferrara v. City of Kyle Police Officers 5:25-cv-00077-FB. Successfully argued that officers were entitled to dismissal on the grounds of res judicata and qualified immunity. Plaintiff appealed to the Fifth Circuit. 25-50272. Successfully briefed arguments at the Fifth Circuit resulting in the Appellate Court upholding the Officers' entitlement to dismissal., 2025
- Obtained immunity dismissal in Texas State Court in the case of Rodriguez v. the City of Round Rock. City police officer was sued for allegedly inducing a car wreck between a felon fleeing from arrest and a third party civilian, which caused a fatal injury to a nearby skateboarding pedestrian. The City argued that its officer was immune from suit because he was conducting his law enforcement duties in good faith when he pursued the fleeing suspect. The case received local media attention., 2025
- Obtained 12(b)(6) dismissal on behalf of three City of San Antonio Police Officers in the case of Tovar v. City of San Antonio et. al. 5:23-cv-00847-FB-HJB. After argument, the Court determined that the Officers were entitled to Qualified Immunity and dismissal for their acts surrounding the fatal shooting of Melissa Perez. The case received local and national media attention. The Qualified Immunity ruling was obtained in advance of a criminal trial that resulted in acquittal. , 2025
- Obtained 12(b)(6) dismissal in the Federal Civil Rights case of of Munaji v. City of Fredericksburg et. al. 1:24-cv-01343-RP on behalf of the City of Fredericksburg and a City Police Officer. After argument, the Court determined that the officer did not wrongfully arrest the Plaintiff and that the Complaint did not plausibly plead that the City had a policy of allowing wrongful arrest., 2025
- Obtained a Summary Judgment victory in the Federal Civil Rights case of Lieber v. Gomez - Case No. 1:23-cv-00181 for client Police Officer in an action arising out of a fatal police shooting in Liberty Hill Texas. , 2024
